Our Golden Triangle Tour
Our last few hours in India...
Raj and Satbir picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the airport. Our flight back to London was due until lunchtime, so there was no rush.
Our flight left New Delhi around 13.15 (local time) - arrived in London Heathrow at 17.55 (local time) - just a long afternoon's flight after all, if you try to forget the 4.5 hours time difference between New Delhi and London!
Needless to say, it was sad saying 'Good-Bye' to Raj and Satbir... and head back for
London at the end of such a wonderful stay!
But in India, you've just got to look around - there's always so much going on!
New Delhi airport was undergoing some major work and the ubiquitous message was
spelt clearly:
"Working towards a better airport... Sorry for the inconvenience: it's just so
you could travel in convenience"...
What more can you say?!
The flight back to London was good: enough time to get up and say our 'Good-Byes'... Having left New Delhi around lunch-time, we arrived back in the UK early evening. It just felt like a 'long' afternoon on the plane.
